Andrew’s Qualifications

Physio for Manly Warringah NRL

Strength and Conditioning Coach

6 Years experience in health and fitness Industry

Andrew began working at North Curl Curl Physiotherapy in 2016, following the completion of his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University. He splits his time working with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles under 20s Rugby League side, adding a wealth of acute injury management and sports physiotherapy to his experience. He also worked closely with the Manly Giants AFL club in 2014 - 2015 alongside NCCP, prior to officially joining the clinic. Both of these roles require a high level of manual therapy, which Andrew brings to NCCP.  Andrew has further training in advanced surface anatomy, combined with soft tissue mobilisation (including myosfascial release and trigger point techniques).

Andrew has a strong interest in strength and conditioning and has completed his Level 1 ASCA coaching qualification. He has extensive experience in the prescription of exercise across a wide variety of populations, having worked in the health and fitness industry during his university studies. He continues to utilize these skills working as a trainer at one of our referrers, The Cube Gym in Brookvale. He can be seen working across both locations creating a link between exercise physiology and our new ACL rehabilitation programme.

Andrew enjoys piecing together the puzzle from acute injury management, through rehabilitation and ultimately helping people return to performing as best as they possibly can.

Outside of work Andrew prefers to spend as much time as possible in the water, either surfing or getting behind the lens taking photos. He’s always been keen sportsmen playing in local soccer, basketball and Oztag weekly.
